Sailing along the coast
The Abruzzi's coastline boasts an extremely varied landscape: sandy beaches, coastal dunes, rocky cliffs, coves and pebbled beaches.
The coastline stretching from Ortona and San Salvo is characterized by its Trabocchi, once a necessary tool for fishing that has become today a unique landscape attraction of these places.
The most popular trabocco, amongst all the existing ones, is that of Capo Turchino, made famous by the poet Gabriele D'Annunzio who renamed the trabocchi "The monsters of the Sea".
Sea-Life organizes wonderful one-day trips on a sailboat, which marry together the freedom of sailing and the pleasure of relaxing, sunbathing at one's own ease and swimming in the waters of the Adriatic Sea.
We recommend the tour America's cup to all those with a real love of sport, so they can first sail and then swim offshore; while those who prefer to suntan along the coast will enjoy the tour Lu Travocche much more.
